Welcome to the Digamber Jain Sangh of North America website DJSNA.org. The Services offered by this website are all related to the promotion of Jainism. This web site is owned and operated by Digamber Jain Sangh of North America (DJSNA). The privacy policy is created in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy.
This notice explains our online information practices. We will collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit the website unless you choose to provide the information at the time of your Account Registration, Feedback, Contact Us, Surveys or join our Group Emails, Forums or Member's Area. The security and protection of our visitor's personal information is our top priority. This policy may be changed or updated from time to time. DJSNA Privacy Practices
DJSNA respects your privacy. We will only collect, store and use your personal information for defined purposes. These relate to the promotion of Jainism and Jains in North America. We intend to inform you how your personal information will be gathered, tracked or used, and to give you choices. Digamber Jain Sangh of North America will do its best to protect your personal information. We request your personal information when you become a member, take a survey, give us any feedback, or contact DJSNA. You make the decision whether to proceed with any activity that requests the personal information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, however, you may not be able to complete the task.
We use personally identifiable information in the following ways: To provide you with DJSNA Activities, DJSNA Emails, DJSNA Groups, DJSNA Mailings, and DJSNA Members Area to share information or communicate with other members. We also use this information to assist us in improving the DJSNA website and getting feedback on DJSNA activities.
From time to time, we may provide information to selected DJSNA Members to communicate to you about DJSNA activities that we believe are important to you. We may also share your personal registered information with other DJSNA members as part of our objectives and goals to promote Jainism and communication among the Jain community. If you prefer that we not to provide your information to other members you may let us know using one of the methods described in this policy.

DJSNA provide a way to 'opt-out' of DJSNA sharing your personal information with other members. We may offer you these choices at the time you give us your information during registration or at any other time afterwards. During the time of registration you can select that you do not wish to share your information with other members. Or you can email your request to cancel your membership or restrict sharing of your personal information by updating your profile in the DJSNA Member Log In Area on the DJSNA Home Page or sending us an email at membership@DJSNA.org with instructions on what you would like to do. Please note than you will not be able to join the DJSNA Members area and view other member's information if you decline to share your personal information.
If you do not wish to continue receiving our Email newsletters or bulletins or group communications you can 'opt-out' of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line of the Email or canceling that service.
Accessing and Amending Personal Information
It is important that our databases are accurate and current. If you wish to access or update the Personal Information you submit through this website, or to make any inquiries about the processing of such information, please contact us as described below. If you have created a user profile, you may also access and revise the Personal Information in you're "My Profile" link or by Update Your Profile link on the Home Page. In addition, DJSNA provides individuals with access to their Personal Data where we believe appropriate, including in situations where you are entitled to access and review Personal Data under applicable data protection and privacy laws.
Refer-A-Friend
If you choose to use our referral services to tell a friend about our website, we will ask for your friends First Name, Last Name and Email Address. We will automatically send your friend an Email inviting him or her to visit the DJSNA website. DJSNA store your friends First Name, Last Name and Email address after sending them an Email. DJSNA does not disclose any of their First Name, Last Name or Email address to Third parties.
